I am in the process of replacing some exterior window trim and wondering what the correct process is in terms of caulking between the window and trim. I was planning on caulking between the window and trim on the left/right vertical pieces as well as on the bottom (against the window itself, not the bottom of the bottom board). The top sits on flashing or drip cap that folds over the window so I wasn't planning any caulking on the top.
The boards I am replacing were caulked the same way. I'm wondering if there's any weep holes or anything in the window body that may have been covered up by the previous job that I should be looking out for. The windows are Anderson Slim Line and when I called Anderson asking for installation docs they said they were discontinued and no longer could give out the info
