Casement windows. Hinge orientation and proper airflow

Hi everyone. I'm installing Anderson 400 casement windows into my home and I'm trying to determine the best hinge arrangement (left of right) for maximum airflow.

Attached is a very rough diagram, not to scale. Each window is exactly the same size but it'll help give a general understanding of the room layout. The red lines indicate what I am thinking in terms of the hinge arrangements.

Just wanted to see what the crowd thinks is the best way to go.

Thanks for any help and pointers.

Casement hinge location will have as much to do with personal preference as it will with ventilation for most folks.

Figure out what looks good.

With the windows open, they will move plenty of air.

If you have lived there long, you know the wind direction. Using just the windows for cooling, you may want to research locally for help deciding which swing is best. OR, just play the odds, 2 left swing, next 2 right swing, etc. End of article; http://www.greenbuildingadvisor.com/...-through-house
