Can some form of a door be installed without using the ceiling?

Hey everyone, I am a completely new to this so I am sorry if my question sounds misinformed. Basically, I rent a basement room with a 63 inch width by 72 inch length entrance way. The problem is the drop ceiling foam panels run throughout the basement, and I cant change that. I understand logically I cant have a real door because it cant touch the panel, but is there a solution? I would appreciate any and all help that comes my way. Thank you.

Can some form of a door be installed without using the ceiling?

My question is, is there a way to mount a door or doors for a 63 W by 79 L space without having it mounted by the ceiling? The ceiling to the entrance way is a drop ceiling with foam paneling. But i desperately need some sort of privacy. Room dividers do not seem ideal.

you should be able to buy solid slab doors and cut them down to fit the opening. the jamb would have to be remade also.

What part of the door would attach to the ceiling? Unless it's a bifold or slider?

Why not use a telescoping shower rod ? Then you can hang some sort of curtain from it . At least you could gain some privacy until you come up with a more permanent solution.

If your landlord will allow it, you can mount barn door hardware to the walls (you will want to make sure you anchor into the studs) for rolling doors that would look nice, be easy to install, not too expensive and provide the privacy you need. For example:
