buying new windows

I am looking at VIWinco windows. How are these windows compared to Simonton? My home is in southeastern Ohio and it gets pretty cold here. My home is 11 years old and they put very cheap windows in this house when they built it. I just purchased it two years ago and now I am ready to do some changes. Hope you all can help me out here. Thanks for your help.

They used to be the licensed manufacturer for Certainteed. They bought the rights when Certainteed dumped the window business. They have since made improvements to certainteeds design. I have used Viwinco products for over 20 years. Their product is good and their service is excellent.

Ohio is the window capitol of the US. You have your pick of the litter out there.

Polaris is another quality brand that is in OH as well. I would throw them in the mix of manufacturers to look at too.
