anderson casement windows ... allow spiders to nest in frame

MY anderson windows are 20 years old and do not have a tight seal when you close them. This allows spiders/bugs to enter my home or
nest in the small area between the window and frame. I am not going to replace all my windows....what can i do to keep these pests from
breeding/entering my home.

Thanks... ac

Without a picture of the window not sure how anyone can suggest how to fix it.

20 yr old casements are probably sagging. I don't believe that they have an adjustment cam like the newer models, but there are ways to get that sash back into place so that it seals properly. It involves re-locating some of the arms, etc, and really is not a DIY job.... Other than that, you could try some of that bug spray that is supposed to last for several months.
