I just got off the phone with Anderson who said "people do it all the time, we don't recommend it because it can break parts of the window if it's not done right and that, of course, voids any warranty. Just know that if you do it and there's any damage it won't be covered." She also affirmed the custom trim kit (not that I doubted you
) but said Anderson doesn't sell them and I'd have to talk to the dealer or the installer. Since Home Depot is the dealer and *ahem* I'm the installer I'll ask HD about it when I order them. If they can't help me may I come back here for a few pointers on this kit?
