Advance Brand Windows?

I'm looking into getting a few windows replaced and a contractor I spoke with says they would use advance brand windows. I have never heard of these before, are they something decent or should I go with a more well know brand window?

It was for vinyl low-e, nothing fancy. Also not looking for any solicitations, just info on this brand of window.

Some window brands are regional specific. I hear people on this site that live on the East Coast discussing brands of windows that I’ve never heard of on the West Coast.

Windows on Wash wasn’t trying to solicit anything but by knowing what part of the Country you’re in will help in guiding you to brands available in “your” area.

I've never heard of advanced brand windows.

Ok I wasn't sure, seeing that large link to a company on their signature if it was spam or not

Otherwise i"m in the midwest,

i wonder if some companies give the window they use "their" own name. when if fact that window manufacturer does't even exist.

Thanks again!!

Advance is a local manufacturer in the Chicago, IL area. I think their window is based on a Rehau extrusion and it is a decent product. Their tilt and turns are nice but the rest of the double hungs are nothing special.

You and Fix'n it are in the same area of the country. As such, my recommendations would be HiMark, Soft-Lite, Sunrise, and Okna in vinyl.

I'd have to agree with WoW's recommendations, and with the fact that 99.9999% of the time there is no solicitation going on here. Any reference to location is typically only to narrow down product choices, pricing scope, etc... and done for no reason other than to provide the most accurate advice possible.
