Question

Adjusting a Sliding Glass Door

I have a sliding glass door & it is sliding on the metal track. I know there are a couple of screws near the bottom & on either side. Turning 1 screw seemed to help (helped but not enough) & the other screw on the other side will not turn. Is it ok to spray wd-40 on it? Is that all there is to adjusting a sliding glass door?
Thanks in advance!

I would not put any oil on your door..you should be able to adjust door by the screws on either side. those are the rollers ..could be broke may have to remove door panel...and may be installed wrong out of level and square...ben sr

Adjusting a Sliding Glass Door

Simple enough to back the screws off and lift the panel straight up and try to pull it out at the bottom.
Often time it takes 2, people. One to lift and tip the other one using a flat screw driver to lift a little on the rollers.
Lots if times the rollers lock up, the springs get weak or break, screws strip out and need to be replaced or repaired.
