I'm converting a rather sizable empty enclosed cavity underneath a stairwell to a storage closet. Its door height will only be just under 4'.
I'm soliciting opinions on where its door handle should be positioned: A) roughly symmetrical vertically (mid-way point), or B) placed much higher for easy reach from a standing position.
I think for (B) it would look rather odd, but the location of the door will be inside a laundry room (which also accesses the garage) so it won't be in plain sight. In fact you would have to close the laundry room door to access this storage closet door.
