Acorn window replacement

CAPES Newbie   Join Date: Dec 2012 Posts: 1	Acorn window replacement I have single hung Acorn aluminum windows. I need to replace some of the stationary (upper) windows. I have a source for the glass but can't figure out how to get the old glass out.

joecaption Member   Join Date: Nov 2011 Location: Hartfield VA Posts: 18,327	Acorn window replacement Also go back and add your location to your profile. Looks like Acorn may be in England. Look at the bottom of the sash to see if there's an L shaped bracket on each side holding it up in place.
