1928 house - help replacing front door lock

I wouldn't be so sure about refurbing it. I had one on a door from a building used for apartments. I was so worn out inside it wasn't possible to fix it. The places where things pivoted were either worn out of round or broken off. Thankfully many other places in the area used the same door setup, so a found a replacement from a salvage place.
