wet insulation

Due to the storm surge, the insulation in my crawl space got wet . The is no water now and the crawl is well ventilated. Do I need to replace the insulation(fiberglass) or can I just let it dry on its own? Thanks

It's trash now and if left in place you can be 100% mold will be setting in because the wood can not dry out.

Get it out and toss it.

Insulation does not dry out just from warmer temperatures and it need active air circulation (low humidity) all around it on all sides and agitation.

Many people sadly discovered this after Katrina when they thought they had dried it out and then refinished the space, just to be faced by a disaster.
