Vapor Barrier on ceiling
Hey DIY looking for professional opinion on something. I am remodeling my third floor and in the process of removing the old drywall I found what looks like cardboard under the drywall. I removed the cardboard from the walls and insulated and put vapor barrier.
On the ceiling however I have not removed the cardboard as I would rather not deal with the mess the insullation would make or have to replace it in the crawl space.
The question is, can I or rather should I put vapor barrier over this cardboard then my drywall or should I bite the bullet and remove it first?
I do not see any mold or water damage on the cardboard at this time and my attic is vented properly.
Thanks for any help.
