I own an 1875 row home and have old plaster ceilings with very old blown in insulation on top. I have removed 2 other ceilings in the house that were in bedrooms but I am now thinking about removing the hallway ceiling to go with new electric and framing because the ceiling is not flat. We currently live in the home so this will be difficult. I am looking for suggestions and information on the insulation that is installed in the ceiling and if its safe to remove? The other rooms were contained and completely renovated but this is exposed to the whole house. Any informations and suggestions would be great. Thanks!

17,000 dryer fires a year, when did you last clean the inside of the dryer near motor or the exhaust ducting?
