reflective insulation

"...with reflectic insulation..." i believe any reflective surface needs space between it and whatever it is reflecting to, and it must be kept clean, or it is near useless. check me out on buildingscience.com or greenbuildingadvisor.com, but i am 99.9% sure that is right. no big deal, but no sense wasting the time and money to install it if it is useless.
