Redoing Kneewall Insulation
We are selling a house, and they found some mold in the attic. Not a big infestation by any measure, and we are paying to remediate. However, the firm wants the insulation pulled from the kneewall portion that heads up to the gable portion. I imagine it will come out easy enough, we will install new proper vents, but how do I get insulation back in that portion without ripping out my interior walls?
I tried a little drawing to show what I am talking about! It is attached below:
I am not against blowing in new stuff, or foam, or someone told me you can can of slide in fiberglass using some sort of a modified rake-looking tool....just fishing for ideas!
