piecing together Roxul

Can partial batts or pieces of Roxul be taped together with red Tuck Tape to fit into awkward areas (above heating ducts, as firewall insulation, etc.)? Thanks for any information.

piecing together Roxul

i doubt it = i don't see the tape holding. just cut pieces about the size needed and stuff em in there. been there, done that.
