Looking to finish and improve half-a$$ed job.

WA state has it's own energy code, you are in Climate 1; more stringent... R-49 required, pp.55, attic access, vapor retarders- pp. 39-41;http://www.energy.wsu.edu/Documents/...ers%201-10.pdf

Simply slashing the paper will do next to nothing to a vapor retarder/barrier; http://www.greenbuildingadvisor.com/...cience-podcast

Clean the dryer screen in HOT water if using fabric softener sheets.
They leave a residue that impedes air-flow, costing you money.
Clean the ducting in the last six months? 17,000 dryer fires annually!
