insulating basement half walls-my plan
 

hi.
would this be an ok way to finish my basement walls?

-remove bag insulation
-attach 1 1/2" C-300 Extruded Polystyrene Rigid Insulation from floor to bottom of the 2x4 wall (this is about 6 feet up from floor)
-this 2x4 wall already has insulation in it with a plastic vapor barrier.
-it is also 1 1/2" out from the concrete foundation so the foam will fit perfectly
-tape and sprayfoam all gaps
-i will then put drywall over that
