Insulate ceiling

Hello,

I would like to insulate the ceiling of my 4 year old apartment. The ceiling is a flat concrete plate, no false ceiling, no attic, no other choice like to insulate the roof. The only way is to insulate the ceiling from inside my apartment.

I own the apartment and I want it cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks.

Insulate ceiling

Is there a living space above?

Are you planning on installing a drop ceiling or secondary layer of drywall, etc.?

Insulate ceiling

Rigid foam is the best in this application but will require being re-covered by drywall for code compliance.
