Finishing basement in townhouse, insulate side common walls?

Well, I'm redoing/finishing the basement, and the home is a townhouse. I have common walls on both sides, and the walls are poured concrete I'd say about 7 ft up, and then there's cinder block. The townhouse has a walk out basement, but the front of the townhouse you walk in on the 2nd level.

Is it worth insulating the side walls that are common with my neighbor? I was originally just planning on installing bat insulation, but would love other opinions. Would it provide much thermal and/or sound insulation? Fortunately the concrete wall seems to provide a good deal of sound insulation, but if I'm going through the hassle of framing up the walls I might as well do it right. TIA! I'm located in Virginia.

Since there inside walls I see no need to do it.

Only if you were worried about sound.

Finishing basement in townhouse, insulate side common walls?

Thanks for the input guys. So the question is would the bat fiberglass insulation provide much/any noticeable sound insulation? I'm installing insulation between the ceiling joists in the basement (to cut down on noise), but I'm starting to wonder if fiberglass insulation in the walls would even make a difference at all. Thanks!

Not much. The studs are the conduits for the noise at this point.
