Bathroom heater insulation
I recently bought a house with an older home with a bathroom heater/exhaust fan. After out inspection I noticed that the cellulose/blown-in insulation was pushed back from or had not been replaced around the heater.
Is there any code or rule about putting insulation around those units? Is it unit specific like a can light?
Best to be safe.
Build a cover for it out of fire rated drywall and seal it to the attic floor.
