Basement with 2x4 walls and 2" airspace

Just wanted to check before I started a project on my basement walls.

I have 2x4 studs and a 2" airspace. It's currently only "insulated" with some sort of aluminium foil.

I'm thinking that I'd put 1" or 1.5" rigid board between the studs, tucktape them and then put in R20 cellulose.

I'd gave to cut the rigid board to fit between the studs.

#1 Going to have to go back and add your location to your profile.
#1 Please explain how if this is a basement why is there wood on the back side of the studs.

Concrete, not wood.

Sure looks like 1 X 6 pine behind those studs which will cause rot and mold to form from being in direct contact with the concrete behind it.

It's concrete. I guess they poorded the foundation using 1x6 framing.
