Any Issue with using 2 layes of 1" XPS?

2" XPS T&G is special order only in my area. Is there any issue to just putting on two layes of the 1" stuff? This is for a basement finish in Chicago.

i don't see a problem with it. as long as its touching well = no air gap.

btw, they have it at the menards in homer glen. the 2" stuff.

Need R-10 XPS if no stud wall with R-13 batts, Zone 5; http://publicecodes.cyberregs.com/ic..._11_sec002.htm

http://www.buildingscience.com/docum...r-requirements
R-5 XPS good only to 33%RH at 68*F room air.m Use more foam/less RH.
