Anti-Microbial DIY Polyurethane Spray Foam Kit Recommendations...
Can anyone recommend a good doi-it urself Spray foam kit to do my rim joists? Not sure it they are all the same or there really are differences. TIA

I measured about 200-220sqft. Its a townhouse so front and back.. I called a local place to do it and they said it would be better for me if they get a couple people so they can come and do us to drive the price down.. I was guestimated a price of about $600 at 3 inch ccspf... not bad I guess. Plus they also said that the temps of their product would be better to apply than with the stuff I would buy from those kits. What's ur thought?

For $600, just have them do it. That is cheap if that is a full fill band spray.
You could, in theory, do it cheaper with XPS and sealant, but it will take you some time vs. no time and $600.

Yea, I prob will have them do it. He is mailing me a proposal and I will see exactly what they are offering.. Plus it would be faster, cleaner and more than likley done right. lol...

This area to be applied using a Froth Pac.

That is pretty cheap to send out a crew for a small'ish type job.
Could you do it cheaper if you did it...yes. Do you want to deal with it? If so, you can do it for cheaper with a smaller froth pack.

Ok, I thought it was cheap also. He did say that they pretty much charge for a "DAY" so they get a few customers lined up and go do them in-between their BIG jobs.
But I want to know if this is a "GOOD" product? I don't know much about what is good or not. I mean is this better than buying a do-it urself product online? Thanks

Ok great! I will just have them come do it and save the hassle and mess! Getting this done and having Wayne do my windows will be a great improvment in the comfort of my house! Thanks again.
