Adding four inches of foam board .


Ow do I attach 4 inches of foam board insulation to the inside of a cathedral ceiling?

Thanks.Would Roxall at 2ft centres and 2xframing be cheaper and more fire resistent?

What exactly are you trying to do? Fill in rafter bays with insulation? Assuming the venting is ok in the cathedral roof section and the you're ready to insulate, yes Roxul would certainly be more fire resistant, but depending on code where you are, would be harder to get to the proper R value.

I'madding insulation to an existing cathedral ceiling leaving the drywall intact.
