raised bed framing ?

do to my wife being somewhat disabled, i need to have a raised garden. say 6"ish. it is going to be about 3' x15'(so we are not walking in dirt). i have some pavers that i will use for the back and side. but i think i would like to have wood for the front, so it looks nice from the house. what wood should i use, if any ?

I used PT landscape timbers.....notched them on the ends so they stay together....

Boy...that was a long time ago....about 10 years ago....
