Eggplant under attack!

The eggplant leaves have these small (pea-size) white gooey slug-like things with a small black heads lined up all in a row eating away the leaves. I think this is them: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-HBBVzvhKyd...RVA%2Bcopy.jpg

The pic say's a Colorado Potato Beetle? Organically, what do I do to get them to stay away?

Are these creatures the same that are eating holes through my broccolli and brussel sprout leaves?

Eggplant under attack!

Not sure it is a Colorado potato beetle. If it is munching on your leaves, squash it. Look under leaves for any eggs (whatever it is) and wipe those off.

Eggplant under attack!

Yep Its a potato beetle larva. When it matures it will be yellow with black . Squish'em Like TC said check the underside of leaves for eggs and wipe them off.

If you are diligent daily you will get them under control (without chemicals) before they ravage your whole crop

Eggplant under attack!

Spray every 3-4 weeks. Also plant some marigolds in and around the garden. They're a natural repellant.
