type of plaster to use in bathroom in Australia


Hi all,
I have recently moved to Australia from the US...we are doing a remodel on a bathroom..doing a feature wall..any ideas on type/brand of plaster to use that will be waterproof available in Sydney Australia...I know this is a stretch.as this is a US site..but please help if anyone knows

You may want to visit drywall talk there are a lot of aussies on there.

type of plaster to use in bathroom in Australia


behr venetian plaster. sold at home depote. google it on youtube. Eli Lucerio will come up as an example. He has several videos on the process and what you get in afterwards is beautiful and water resistant. I always recomend Behr as a first synthetic option. Lime based plaster can get fairly pricey. STAY away from Vela or the "Select" synthetics sold at lowes and Benjamin Moore. Behr goes on so much more easir.
