How much wood can a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

Ren: Now listen, Cadet. I've got a job for you. See this button? Ren: Don't touch it! It's the History Eraser button, you fool! Stimpy: So what'll happen? Ren: That's just it. We don't know. Maybe something bad, maybe something good. I guess we'll never know, 'cause you're going to guard it. You won't touch it, will you?

If your trying to diy a termite treatment, not a great plan.
Going to need a pro on this one.
Treating just one area will do nothing, there just going to come in someplace else.
Treatment will depend on what type termites you have, and how close you are to water and your well if you have one. Some live in the home full time and never have to go to the ground for water, the house would have to be tented in most cases to treat them.
Others have to go back to the ground and make mud tunnels to travel in.
For this type the foundation, footing, and under the house gets treated to form a barrier and so the workers pick up the poison and take it back to the nest so it kills the queen.
