taping ?

boogie3 Newbie   Join Date: Jan 2013 Posts: 1	taping ? Had to move some light fixtures and replaced the hole with a piece of drywall from another fixture. Not a complete seal but close. Now does the gap need to be taped or can I just add mud to the gap ? Thx Boogie
