taping ?


Had to move some light fixtures and replaced the hole with a piece of drywall from another fixture. Not a complete seal but close. Now does the gap need to be taped or can I just add mud to the gap ?

prefill the crack with easy sand 20,45,90. then paper tape the crack, skim out, sand prime paint
