removing wood paneling and found....

Textured drywall underneath but huge gobs of adhesive underneath....what's the best route to go for removing?...is it going to be possible or should I go ahead and start pricing new drywall?
Thanks

You could either tear out and start over (allowing access to add outlets, low voltage items, etc.) or add a layer over what's there. I'd opt for new drywall if it were mine....

About 1 month ago we removed liquid nails with some paint stripper, it turned the liquid nails in to nothing,,, quick. This was off of steel beams tho, it probably wouldn't work nearly as good on drywall because the LN soaks in to the drywall some & doesn't ever want to come off. So my story doesn't really help you any lol.

I would opt for new drywall as well ;)

Vote #3 for new drywall---Like BJbaltanta mentioned--Best time to bring the insulation and electric up to snuff--
