Protruding edge of foundation

Hi All,
I am looking for suggestions on how to drywall around or on top of a protruding foundation wall in my daylight basement.

The best way to do it, assuming the room stays dry is to use furring strips or dimensional lumber (depending on how large this step is) on the walls so that the sheetrock can extend to within about 1/2" of the floor. Then after you finish it the base molding will cover the gap. You could have the sheetrock end at the concrete and then cover it with molding or dimensional lumber, you wouldn't look as nice or be as formal vote would be fully functional depending on what you plan on using the room for.

Yeah that's good thank you. The smaller edge is 1/2" and the larger is 2 1/2", furring strips on the smaller would work great.

Be sure to use pressure treated lumber on any wood used in contact with the concrete...
