Patching a firewall?

I had to cut a small (apprx. 3" x 5") hole in the OSB separating my garage from the living space. The OSB is also covered in 5/8" drywall (which I cut as well). I did this to help run a few wires for some new outlets.

Is it required that I patch the small hole in the OSB, or can I get away w/ just patching the drywall?

Just patch the drywall, the OSB is not part of the fire code...
