painting over drywall

Hi and Welcom Darrell, to the best darn DIY'r site on the web.

Is this new drywal, old drywall, painted drywall or unpainted drywall.

Unpaint new drywall, paint with a primer sealer first, at least 2 coats before applying any sort of top coat.

When its all said and done there is usually more said than done
