paint peeling

Why is my sheetrock/paint peeling in the bathroom? The peeling is localized to right near the shower head. How do I know if moisture is coming from the plumbing inside or its just normal bathroom moisture? Don't really want it to be the plumbing.

If access under or over the wall, seal around the supply piping to stop drafts from there to the exhaust fan taking moisture from the pipes (condensation) and depositing it on the wall around the pipe trim piece to blister the pain. (Long sentence- it's late and I'm tired....)
See if you can slip some closed cell pipe insulation on the shower head supply tube in the wall by pulling away the trim escutcheon.
