What part of what I said did you not understand? Don't want to argue because it may be so is Cal. but in the U.S. all ceilings do not have to be drywalled.

At my box store it is in the trim dept under the mouldings. The reason I suggested a 16 ga instead of a brad is the 16 has a head although small this should help on a ceiling.
