never seen them before but sounds like a great idea. self tapping metal screws are expensive and if these work good they'll pay for themselves in 5-6 jobs and fast and quiet! if i did more steel studding i'd buy a pair to try them out

We were taught to use those at trade school- One side of the steel stud gets screwed, the other side gets crimped. Seemed to work fairly well.

ahhhh! i see! so crimping both not a good ieda but attatching the back when its hard to get at! good idea! i learned something today
