interior doggie door

we want to install a doggi door or 12" square in interior dry wall (between 2 bedrooms). How do I know if there are any wires or cables, etc?

Use a dry wall saw to make a hole, just be carefull to not go to deep.
Simple enough to reroute any wiring or just patch the drywall if your not up to that.

My $20 stud finder, from Lowes, will tell me if there are wires behind the drywall.

Simple to reroute the wires? Uh, sure, if you don't mind removing A LOT more drywall!

Poke a small hole---bend the end of a length of wire---stick it in the hole--spin it and see if it hits any thing---
