How to match the texture on this ceiling

There are multiple cracks in the ceiling but my main concern is replicating the texture which is on every ceiling in the house. Any insight is welcome!

How to match the texture on this ceiling

Need to figure out why it's cracking first.
Is this a single story house?
Are you trying to store stuff up in that attic with undersized joist that never should have been top loaded?
Can you tell if it's the tape under the texture coming loose and causing the cracks?
If there all over the house once the repairs are done your going to have to have the whole ceiling retextured or better yet remove all of it and never have to deal with it again.

How to match the texture on this ceiling

The house is a one-story and I do not store anything in the attic. I have had a reputable foundation company come out and he told me there was nothing wrong with the slab. I have had 2 insurance adjusters and 5 different contractors and have gotten 7 different diagnosis. It is making me crazy. I am trying to find a tool that will replicate the texture.

One of the cracking issues appears to be a poor job of repairing the ceiling. Not sure about the issue of the other crack.

Any advice is welcome.

There's hundreds of differant textures and ways do do it. Unless you used the exact same tool and the exact same steps the original finisher used, most are near impossible to just do a repair on. One of the many reasons not to texture.
Texturing is done to save time and money. Instead of taking the time to finish the wall thry just cover up the flaws.
Try checking on You Tube there's lots of videos on how to do it.
Try looking under "knock down"

thin down your mud to a consistency of a thick potato soup. Using a 9" paint roller roll the areas you're wanting textured with the mud. Take a stippling brush and stomp random patterns in the mud/soup. let it dry....after its dry grab a sanding sponge and go to work knocking the high spots down to the depth that best matches the previous texture......sanding will create flat spots like you see in your picture///sanding will also help to elimnate the lap marks that were made from the repairs...

in the photo on the right it almost looks as if the wall was repaired before and the repair cracked again.
I'd take a razor knife clean up the cracks to where they will receive the next tape coats mud more readily.

Some of us texture because we like it and not to hide anything. Who wants a smooth wall or ceiling?

That is certainly not the consensus.

You wont find texture in any high end homes here. Even the garage walls and ceilings are smooth.

you're nuts, slick is elegant and most every homeowner wants elegant. Finishing slick ceilings sucks because of sanding and extra coats of mud...the reason for texture is labor cost.
exception being deco walls like venetian plaster.
