I am getting ready to hang drywall overtop of my existing drywalll (reasons why I did not remove all the old have already been discussed).
I am ready to do this and after sorting through the hotly debated vertical vs. Horizontal, I have decided to hang horizontal.
The windows and doors are already in place obviously. My question is...do I take the board all the way to the edge of the window and door jamb or stop before I get to the jambs and use jamb extensions on finishing? It just seems it would be much easier to go all the wal then I could just bridge the windows and doors and cut with a keyhole. But on the flipside, would this cause problems when adding casing?
Here is a picture - so go to where the old stops or keep going? Thanks.
