Hair line cracks in drywall corners

I am doing a basement Reno and have reached the mud and taping stage, I have done the first and second coat of mud on and have let it dry for 24 hrs, I am now seeing hair line cracks in the corners. Is this normal if not. What can I do to fix it. I used paper tape i the corners

it is not normal.
im guessing its cracked along the edge of the paper in the corners. and this is caused by the paper tape not bonding with the drywall.
what type of mud did you use to set the tape?
you'll have to lift the paper up and apply mud in behind then skim it out.
if its really bad and all over i'd be pulling the paper and redoing it.

Thanks for your reply. The cracks are directly in corner not along the edge of the tape. I used synko taping compound and synko filling and topping compound for the second coat.

I'm not familiar with that compound. Sometimes if you apply the mud to thick it will crack like that. Or if you put fans or a heat source on it to dry it quicker it will crack.

If it's right in the corner, it's likely that you put the mud on thick and it just shrank and cracked a little bit as it dried.

I would guess it shrank as it dried. Wait until it's fully dried and fill the cracks.
