Flexible crack filler

Hello all,

I have a 2 foot crack in the drywall that opens and closes based on changing seasons. Tried filling it in with compound but it just cracks again.

I'm not enough of a drywall guy to tape the seam and match the texture so I'm wondering if there is some kind of flexible crack filler that will move with the structure.

You can try an acrylic/latex caulk. If the crack isn't that wide it should last a while and is paintable.
