Filling joints before taping

I have a few panels that need to/should be filled before I start to tape (due to my crummy drywalling).

Which of these two should I use for this?

Was thinking this:
http://www.cgcinc.com/en/products/jo...aspx?pType=PRO

But looking at their website I should maybe use AP?

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks,
Mitch

Filling joints before taping

For pre-filling gaps prior to taping?

I use a setting compound, IE 20 minute mud, or concrete fill (the stuff used for drywall work)
