Expanded mesh cornerbead OK for drywall?

Mfrs say it's a veneer plaster product, but is there any reason not to use with drywall and Durabond 90?

Why would you want to?
If your doing drywall just use a reguler steel drywall corner.

I would use a regular corner bead. and why do you want to use that type in the first place?

Reason I asked, is that USG makes an #800 mesh corner that I know is for drywall (because USG says so), and is staple attached, but the ones I've seen locally are from Clark-Dietrich or Marino-ware and are spec'd as veneer plaster products.

Just wondered if they're all the same thing.
