Just stripped wallpaper off a curved wall and discovered it is made of eucca board..can anyone tell me if I can texture over this stuff? ...Thanks in advance.

I've never heard of Eucca board.

Its 1/4 thick and brown, slick on one side and rough on the other.

Sounds more like fiberboard. It's what they use for cheap paneling.

I've seen where someone tryed to texture over it before in a chuch. It all fell off. Just to slick.

What about a good primer first?...or do you think I have to take it down. By the way you guys are so great, I really appreciate the advise!

I hate to see anyone texture anything for any reason, but what's the chance of going over it with 1/4 sheetrock, priming that then texturing it.

That is a great idea, I wanted to give the walls the old world look, ...it will stick out 1/4 of an inch where it meets the other wall, though...I guess a new corner bead is instore for me as well...oh well nothing is ever easy as it looks., Thanks again
