dust free drywall sander
 
i just taped and floated my living room, and skimmed one of the walls. i"m wondering if any of you guys ever used a dust-free drywall sander. man, i hate the powder this stuff makes. i"m really intrested in buying one. thanks guys.

Porter cable made one that I used once. It came with a vacuum and had a nice telescoping handle. I rented it because it was expensive to buy. I've also used a regular orbital sander hooked up to shop vac but you'll prolly ruin the sander with the fine dust...

The pros apply the mud so that it doesn't need to be sanded! :). I am not a pro...

yea, im not much of a pro neither. someone told me hyde makes a couple but dont know about them neither. thanks!

Check out your local paint stores. I know my local Sherwin-Williams sells a few.

I've done it with wet towel and pump sprayer with water. It works but if your not careful you will take to much off.

I'm not a professional., But I did stay at Holiday Inn Express last night.
