Drywalling around a corner door

I am currently working on a bathroom that has a door very close to an inside corner. With the studs exposed there is about 2 inches from the corner stud to the outside of the jamb. It's not possible to move the door over. How should I attempt to finish that? Do I treat it like a normal inside corner/door and tape it or do I take score a strip on the adjacent sheet and fold it into the corner using the front paper like a book binding? I had a person tell me that was how he did all of his corners. I have done several drywall projects and have worked for a short time on a drywall crew but I've never had to deal with a door that was so close.

Drywalling around a corner door

i'd tape it.
your door casing will probably cover most of it

It will add 10 or 15 minutes to the job, but for perfection, just remove the door casing first. Put it back on when you're done.
