Drywall/tub surround
When installing drywall behind a tub surround, should it stay above the lip of the tub?

Drywalll/tub surround
I'm replacing the tub surround. I actually called a buddy and he suggested leaving it above the flange. So that's what I've done. I used the dens-shield.

You are good----that is the correct way---Mike---

Installing Tub Surround
I have put in dens-shield above the tub flange, but it sticks out over the top, so that there is not a solid line from the tub straight up. I'm concerned this is going to be a problem for the tub surround sticking/not buckling. I also am wondering if there is any negative effects to putting the shiny side of the tub surround against the wall?
