drywall + screws
Ok 2 questions here
1. drywall a ceiling what thickness should I use, I have 16" on center furring strips installed. What size screw also 2. Drywall thickness for my walls on 16" on center 2x4 walls and size screws also. Thanks for any input |

drywall + screws
In most areas 1/2 inch drywall is good for ceiling and walls---1 1/4" screws.
Check local code some require 5/8" on ceilings --1 5/8" screw.
